Nurse members of the Michigan Nurses Association (MNA) at Trinity Health Grand Haven hospital (formerly North Ottawa) attended a press conference in support of SEIU negotiations with Trinity Health Grand Haven Hospital. Both unions share concerns about staffing and the shortage of competitive salaries to attract and retain workers. SEIU members are currently in negotiations, and the MNA nurses will soon be negotiating as well. The MNA nurses expressed their strong support for their fellow healthcare workers and reiterated their commitment to fighting for fair and just working conditions for all healthcare professionals.
