The University of Michigan Health System has a $103 million surplus. Nurses have been working with administration at the bargaining table for months for a fair contract, yet Michigan Medicine is focusing on financial gain instead of patient care.
Michigan Medicine still refuses to maintain current RN staffing levels and still refuses to give nurses a real say in staffing decisions.
Enough is enough. It’s time to send a clear message that nurses won’t be bullied when it comes to getting what is needed to provide the best care possible.
Nurses and the community are coming together to hold an informational picket at 10 am on Saturday, July 14, Fuller Park Field 7 (east of yellow parking lot on Fuller Rd) to tell the University of Michigan Health System to put patients first.
Sign up here to attend!
